What We Do

There is always a lot going on at St James and Emmanuel.
With two churches, four congregations and a whole variety of lively small groups, there is a rich range of activities that allow us to express our faith.
Our primary aim is to be a church that makes room for people and creates places of belonging for as many as possible. It is in this context of welcome and acceptance that discipleship can take place.
Small groups certainly offer the richest source of both belonging and discipleship and we would encourage every member of the church to participate in one of these. However, there are also a range of ministry areas from leading worship through to working with children and young people where the gifts and time of our members is welcomed and encouraged.
