Moving from Engagement to Marriage
Getting engaged is really exciting but the process of organising the wedding that follows can be daunting. We try to help as much as we can with all the planning that is required to make your wedding day very special and get your marriage off to a flying start.
More importantly we pray for all those who get married with us and seek to share with each couple key principles and values for building a healthy relationship - principles and values that many people have found invaluable.
If you are getting married then we encourage you to begin your wedding planning with a prayer:
Gracious God, our heavenly Father,
we thank you for bringing us together.
With your help prepare us for our married life.
Show us how to be tolerant
and understanding towards one another.
Enrich our love with your love.
Teach us how to put each other first in all we do.
Guide us through difficulties
and lead us in decisions we have to make.
May our wedding be a joyful day and a happy memory
for our families, our friends, and ourselves.
We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ
