Stenner Lane Street Fayre

On the 13th July 2008 we are holding the first Stenner Lane Street Fayre.

This is a church led initiative to build community in Didsbury. Our aim is to close Stenner Lane (the road that St James’ is on) to all traffic and to fill it with stalls, games and activities.

A number of local businesses will also be represented selling fairly traded or organically produced goods. The area immediately around the church will be filled with free activities for the whole family.

There will be guided tours of the church by experts in Georgian costume, a Fair Trade café and a 'quiet zone' set aside for prayer and contemplation. (Road closure is subject to Council approval)
