Snakesheads, summer fruits and Schumann...

On 9 April, Emmanuel offered a rich array for the senses - the aroma of fresh coffee, the scent of thyme and the tang of homemade jam.

In addition to Saturday's regular coffee concert, the porch was packed with a variety of chutneys and jams, while the plant stall on Emmanuel's terrace tempted passers by.
Sales exceeded £500 and were in aid of the St James 775 fund, which has now raised over £50,000 since the gift day in March.
Thank you to everyone who supported the stalls. The coming months promise to bring more treats to help the fund reach the target of £75,000.
