Prayer Support Group
A group of people from across our church family meet on the first Tuesday evening of every month to pray for the staff and life of St James and Emmanuel.
Prayer is foundational to our relationship with God, and praying for others is a way of providing vital support to their life and work. The Prayer Support Group offers just this kind of support to the leadership of St James and Emmanuel.
Nick Bundock, our Team Rector, says:
“It’s an amazing blessing to me and we’ve seen answers to prayer, sometimes within hours, as a result of these meetings. There aren’t many churches where a whole range of people meet monthly to pray for their staff and clergy team. I feel that the prayers of this group are sustaining my ministry, enabling us to be more effective in serving you.”
The people in the group are both extraordinary and ordinary. Extraordinary because of their contribution to the life of our church family, yet ordinary because they are simply regular men and women who are willing to gather and pray.
