Family Fun Day
On 18 July 2010 we had a great summer party to celebrate the end of term.
From 11.30pm until 3.30pm on Sunday, July 18th, we had a fabulous party in the grounds of Emmanuel Church.
There was a bouncy castle, face painting, dancing, singing, craft stalls and much, much more. On top of all that there was a barbeque, salad bar, cakes and ice cream - no-one needed to go home hungry!!!
We also auctioned some fantastic goodies including holidays, food and entertainment.
If that wasn't enough, the Head Teacher of Didsbury C of E Primary School was splatted with wet sponges... and the curate got gunged!
Aside from having a good time together, we also raised some funds for our vast array of youth and children's work - just under £4,500 in total!
Thank you to everyone who came along and helped us have a great time, and particular thanks to those who helped make it all happen.
